Team Spotlight: SimRacing Norway

Founded in 2020, SRN evolved into a team with 20 drivers competing in iRacing leagues, special events and national championships.

SimRacing Norway (SRN) was founded in 2020 when we were racing in F1 2020. Back then, we became a team that had outgrown the game. So we decided to split into smaller teams and become friendly rivals. Eight of us came together to form what is now SimRacing Norway. Over time, as the F1 series declined and we transitioned to iRacing, only two of the original eight drivers remained active.

By 2022, there was a period when only Kim André was actively racing under the SRN banner. However, this marked the beginning of our growth into the team we are today. Now, SRN has 20 drivers, with 10 to 15 actively racing every week, while others participate when time allows.

We are mostly about having fun and try to get at least 2 cars on the grid in special events. Some of us are doing leagues like Radical SimRacing, Apex Racing and national championships. Others are doing mostly officials and the Club Scandinavia League which is a league free to run for Scandinavians.

A special shoutout goes to our sponsor Polyalkemi!

Team Goals for 2025

  • Do the best I (Kim) can do in the RSR Championship
  • Have a minimum of 1 car at every special event

Rivalries/Teams they’re watching closely

I’m not going to lie we would always want to be the best we could and all the teams are improving, but it tastes really good to beat IGL Coatings and I hope to have some really fun battles with them and the rest on track.

Why You Should Root For Them

A good bunch of drivers having fun with some sim racing.
